Month old pint can A: Poured a short dark beige head of loose froth atop a clear pale amber body. Little retention or lace. S: Muted scent of toast, wood and a bit of alcohol. A little like whisky. T: Sweet and lightly fruity with toasted bread, toffee and grain over light herbal hops. Some apple and alcohol at the end. M: Medium full body, lowish carbonation and sticky finish. O: Fairly mediocre overall, stronger and sweeter than I'd prefer.
