Cask (gravity) @ 27th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2010, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, EnglandLight unclear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light yeasty, apple, plastic. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20101203]

Pigs Ear. I hate to be unkind to a brewer from my old stomping ground but this is a pretty awful beer. Hopefully just a wrong un. I recall seeing ’an aquired taste’ note stuck to the keg! Hazy amber beer, no head. Light dry palate. Lots of soap. A trace of orange buried under the soap. Wincingly awful!
