Sampled on draft this beer poured a brown color with a large foamy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was malty, lightly fruits and astringent. The flavor was somewhat astringent with light fruity hops and tobacco. Long finish. Medium body.

Dark copper color with tan head. Sweet caramel malt flavor with a rush of crisp, bitter hops at the finish. Hoppiness stays s little at the end.

3 week old bottle A: Clear mahogany tea color with a short but lasting tan head leaving sheets of lace. S: Nuts and chocolate with faint orange and herbs. T: Light citrus hops over toasty malts with light chocolate and orange lingering. Hoppier than expected. M: Smooth creamy mouthfeel with ample soft carbonation and tart, bitter finish. O: Very nice, Great flavor balance and slick texture make it a winner for me.
