(bottle) Hazy, orange-amber colour with a big and loose off-white foamy head. Bready and nutty malty aroma with notes of caramel, yeasty spice, as well as a mildly fruity and delicately hoppy background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready and nutty cara-malt character with subtle fruity notes and woody hoppy spice; moderately sweet finish with caramel and a mildly hoppy bitterness. 04.VIII.15

Bottle(thanx to Quack-Duck!): Light amber coloured, bready and nutty nose, spicy, wood and vanilla underneath, lighter citrus aromas are detectable, too; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft; woody and nutty-malty finish. Good brew…

Bottled. Amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wooden, toffeeish, slightly strange notes as well. Flavour is a bunch of fruits, some toffee, wood and also some slight floral notes. The flavour has kept surprisingly well considering the BBE was in 2007!

Bottle purchase from Tuckers Maltings online. Poured a nice clear copper colour with small white head. This was a jolly decent hoppy, fruity and malty beer quite full bodied tasty, very good.
