Keg at Tap East, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a fine, white cream head. Light biscuity pale malt nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with mellow floral bitterness, light dry grass, hints of dry citrus, lemon. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately clean finish with more biscuits and light bitterness. Fine.

On tap at Tap East. Clear gold with lasting thick white head. Ok spicy noble hops. Good hops on finish. Drinkable. Little bit of carbonic acid and some malts arent quite right but i do like the hops.

A nice hazy golden colour with a white head. Very hoppy nose, and light fruity. Moderate malt flavour with a delicious hoppy finnish. Way above any other pils I have ever tasted.
{On tap at Dr. Jekyll’s Pub in Oslo, Norway]

Keg @ Red Squirrel 270312
Yellow, cloudy, frothy white head dissipates quickly
Aroma of sweet fruits, hint of raspberry, bit of orange - it’s odd for a pils but I like it
Taste of sweet malt, fruity, bit of raspberry, light background of sazzy hops..odd for a lager...again I like it
Palate - soft carb, sweet sweet light pale malt, fruity. Finish as main flavour with a clean finish.
Overall - Strange, rebellious lager. Forget styles - it’s a really good beer and probably the best lager I’ve tasted (but it probably isn’t a lager?)

On tap at Henriks. Has a clear straw colour with a small white head. Less aromatic than expected but with mostly grass and hay. Wheres the saaz?. The saaz hop is more present in the flavor, but is dominated by the Ngne touch which I suspect is comming from their yeast strain (?). More grass and dry hops in the mouth. Slick and above average rich mouthfeel for a pilsener. A decent and mouthfilling pilsener but I would prefer more bohemian touch on it.

Draught, 5% abv., over 100ml at Bryggetorget, Oslo Ølfestival 2011. Decent white bubbly head, spotty head-lacing. Hazy golden body. Smell of wheat-like fruits. Noble hops in flavour displaying faint notes of oranges and lemon supported by pale malts. Short bitter end, but feels well bodied on the swallow. Refreshing. Far above the average Norwegian pilsener. Coming up: a few more from Nøgne Ø (Ølmesseteltet, Oslo 08.10.2011).
