Bottle @ Beer Dock, Crewe. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 080219

8/2/2019. Bottle at Beer Dock, Crewe. Pours golden amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, grass and yeast. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. One of Wincle's better ones.

Bottle @ Beer Dock, Crewe. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, fruits and hops. Sweet finish.

Cask at Heaton House Farm. Clear amber body with a thin off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain and toffee. Flavour follows the aroma watery grain with a touch of sweetness. Thin body with a flat, watery texture. Simple and easy to drink.

Bottle from Nancy's Deli, Lymm. Dark copper-amber with no head. Sweetened bitter with caramels in both and aroma and taste, although it has a very watery texture.

50cl bottle from Brown & Green, Trentham. Pale golden amber in colour with an off-white head fulling back qickly to a ring around the glass; fruity malt aroma; soft in the mouth with lots of caramel malts; and a touch of spicy hops before a dry caramel finish. A very drinkable, Yorkshire-style, session bitter.

Bottle 500ml.Light unclear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, sweet malt, light to moderate yeasty, leather. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, grass - hops leaves, strange yeast note. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110618]
