draught at the Corn Exchange, Crickhowell. Clear amber-golden colour with a small off-white head. Flowery hoppy nose. Rather full-bodied for the strength and so full of flavours. Intensive malty background with a touch of fruit, orange malmalade and lots of perfumy and floral hops in the lingering finish. Perhaps the best Welsh beer I had during my holiday. Cask-conditioned at the Clytha Arms, Gwent 11/05/09. Reddish-amber with a slight, off-white head. Plenty of red fruit and caramel in the aroma. Flavour was also sweet, with a mildly bitter finish. Easy drinking.
