Bottle 0,5ltr: Amber coloured brew with an nice fruity taste and not so bitter aftertaste at all. Despite the low percentage of alcohol it tastes not so.

Cask at the table service only when I visited in the evening Two Lifeboats at the seafront in Sheringham. Golden-amber with a small head. Hoppy-fruity-bitterness, about in equal measure.

Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours an almost clear caramel brown colour with a medium sized creamy off white head. Aromas of toffee, caramel, biscuits and citrus orange, tangerines. Taste has more toffee, caramel and citrus orange with some peppery spice and earthy hops on the finish. Medium body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Lots of good flavour for the low abv. Very good English Bitter this one.

Half pint, cask, shared with Finn after breakfast at Corn Exchange (JDW). Covering white head, dotted spots, clear amber body. Moderate aroma of herbal hops and mid-sweet malts. Bread, hints of brittle caramel, and herbal hops to the taste buds. Bittersweet ending. Quite alright. (Bury St Edmunds 12.11.2021).

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, hops, fruit and grassy notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Offers up a bit more than the typical 3.9% bottled bitter.

500mL bottle, BB 10/2019, pours a clear copper amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, stale British hops, and some earthy notes. Flavour is rather stale, with earthy notes, bready malt and stale hops. Not sure how much better this would be fresh. Lame.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - copper to damson in colour. Just the slightest hint that the head us a bit off of white. Nose - fudge, biscuit and lemon. Taste - yeah, fudge again. Brown bread. Palate - medium bodied with decent malt bitterness. Overall - good.
