Tap. Pours crystal clear orange, medium creamy white head, great lacing. Aroma is light, grassy, cracker. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, clean. Grassy. Light body. Solid. Zero trace of Amarillo. I will note that the taplist description does not mention Amarillo.

Beautiful clear ruby and pink-tinted copper coloured body with bright bronze highlights and a thick, four centimetre tall off-white head - very nice. Aroma of grass, flowers, hay, sugars and quite a lot of fruit - pears, apples, grapes and citrus all come through. Light to Medium-bodied; Clean and fresh malt flavours with a subdued sweetness, body and especially light hopiness that don’t stand out, but are very fresh and clean flavoured. Aftertaste has no bitterness, no pungency and a very polished and refined malt backbone with some light sugars, a faint bit of hops and some fruit elements as well. Overall, a very nicely layered beer with a good backbone and some smooth elements throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in Arlington (Clarendon),Virginia on 12-March-2016 for US$1,50 sampled at home in Washington on 27-April-2016.

Bottle. Pours golden with an inch of beige head. Smells of grasses, light lemon, crackers. Taste is bitter grasses, light citrus, bread crusts. Rather boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Clear amber, large foamy off-white head. Good retention. Aroma of spicy, herbal hops, toasted pale malt. The taste is pale malt, a bit of doughiness and raw malt, green and grassy hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, mild lingering bitterness.

Easy drinking and decently balanced for what it is. Pours golden without much head. Nice malt profile. Tap at Jackpot.

Hay, honey, pineapple nose. Clear copper, thick yellow head, little retention. Malt forward, hay almost exclusively. Light body, soft carbonation, smooth. Pleasantly neutral, neither sweet nor sour, bitter nor savory. Not enough hop character to be considered a pilsner. Rather kolsch-like. Very easy drinking and clean. Pretty solid helles.
