Kentucky Ale® is described as a marriage between two classic beer styles, Irish Red Ale and English Pale Ale. With a light amber color, Kentucky Ale owes its body and character to select imported malts and a pinch of wheat malt for a rich, smooth taste.

Light amber in color, Kentucky Ale owes its unique body and character to select imported malts and a pinch of wheat malt for a rich, smooth taste.
The unique body and character of Kentucky Ale is heavily influenced by the water, drawn from aquifers in the limestone rock underlying the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky.

Bottle. Amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel and some stewed fruits. Lowish carbonation. Sweet with caramel and some vague fruit, some pepper emerges in finish that’s low on bitterness but just leans towards dry. No good.

355 ml bottle at Bishop’s Arms Plaza, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg. On February 15, 2013.Clear golden color, off-white head that dies very fast. Sweet, corn, grainy scent. Fruity, sweet, some apricots, sugary taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Corn, sugary, sweet aftertaste.Sort of bland, not much character, I don’t type it very often, but wouldn’t hurt with more influence from the hops.
