Some sour apricot and not a lot else like they were picked too early. Light tangy finish. Bottle.

Hazy amber and copper coloured body with a plum coloured tint and even a touch of pink/purple when held up to a light, all with a thin one to two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of malt, earth, light toffee, some grain, a touch of sweetness and perhaps the slightest bit of fruits - not much there though at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and grainy flavours with some bitterness from the lager yeast, a touch of light spices and even a dose of caramelised sugars near the end. Aftertaste shows some more assertive grain and yeast flavours with a little less emphasis on fruits, sweetness or complexities - this is straight-forward, malty and light toasted with some grain and yeast flavours the strongest. Overall, a decent beer at best with a large grain and lager yeast flavour at first with not much complexities and no real sweetness throughout. Still nice to sample as it is a one-time offering, but wish it was even slightly decent. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Arlington, Virginia on 22-November-2017 for US$16,99/twelve pack sampled at home in Washington on 28-January-2018.

12 ounce bottle thanks to hershiser2. Thanks! Clear dark brown, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of dried apricot and raisin, caramel. The taste is tart juicy apricot, caramel, nuttiness. Medium bodied, juicy, mildly tart. Simple, but extremely tasty. Well done.
