Perfectly crisp and clear light golden coloured body with a soapy and very ugly looking white head that starts out at about five centimetres in height that fades to barely one centimetre after a few seconds. Aroma of grass, hay and very light malts with some funky yeast and very little else - very mild throughout. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours at first dominate with a light sweetness from lemons and a very dry malt note with some biscuits and grain and a hint of cereal and stone fruits on the finish. Aftertaste is very mild with the yeast and biscuity notes showing more than anything else, but a dry, cleanser-like flavour and astringency is noticeable at the end. Overall, a soft and mild beer, but the malt and bitterness does come through, which are seemingly are all the lager yeast and funky malt notes - nothing real bitter from the light hops here. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased yesterday from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 20-November-2019 for US$1,87 sampled at my house here in Washington, a few blocks away, a day later, on 21-November-2019.
