500ml bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, beige head. Slightly muggy, yeasty aroma with fruity hints of raisins, dark berries, red currant, a herbal touch in mustard direction. Taste is fruity and slightly yeasty, notes of red berries, a touch of cherry, red currant, a leafy, herbal touch. Not too bad.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher beiger Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, hefig, würzig, Marzipan. Geschmack fruchtig malzig, würzig, Rosinen, leicht alkoholisch.

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Dark malty and slightly berry-fruity aroma with leathery notes. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft, if not tame carbonation. Leathery dark malt-character with notes of berries and traces of caramel; slightly sweet and sour-fruity finish with phenolic spicy notes. Rather disappointing. 19.IV.14

Klar mørk kobberfarvet. Lille kompakt skum. Aroma af rosiner, gær, tydelig alkohol. Smagen er meget sød, men efterlader et lidt tyndt og vandet indtryk...

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. BB date 08.06.13. ABV is 7.0%. Artificial colouring (E150c) has been added. Brown colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Boring aroma of malts and grain, some notes of stale jam in the background. Thin mouthfeel for a 7% beer. The flavour has notes of brown kandij sugar and caramel, but the beer is not very sweet. Mild spicy notes and a little hops in the finish. Tastes better than it smells, but this is not a great "Belgian".

2/XI/13 - 50cl bottle @ Greet's place - BB: 8/VII/14 (2013-1034) Thanks to Johan L. for sharing the bottle!

Clear red brown beer, small irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: caramel, toast, bit nutty, sugary, brown sugar, malty, some alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, bit sugary, bitter, blunt, little hoppy. Aftertaste: hops, bit metallic, some citrus, watery and very plain. Don't like it.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 08.06.2013
Aroma feels fresh with soapy citrus, some floral notes and hints of burned sugar. Flavour has brown sugar, soapy citrus and toffee typical to English ales(!). Actually this feels a lot like an English Pale Ale. Hides the 7% rather well.
