Nydelig duft av friske frukter og mørk sjokolade. Dyp sort farge. Dekkende brunt skum. Fin frisk smak av frukter med en herlig ettersmak av mørk sjokolade.

500ml bottle. Dark brown colour with average to huge, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Dark malty aroma with fruity and chocolately notes, a touch of nougat, red berries, hoppy overtones with hints of grapefruit. Taste is bitter hoppy with grapefruit notes, underlying hints of bitter almond, bitter chocolate, nougat, fruit parings. Somewhat monotonous and unpleasant bitter taste, hints of "matured" nougat; simply not tasty. Certainly not applicable as far as the ingredients are concerned, but sadly true for the taste coming out: dusty, fusty, scruffy.

Bottle. Pours black, with a big lightly coloured head. Aroma is caramel and coffee, with a bitter tropical hoppiness. Medium body and carbonation. Sweet flavour with molasses, kandi and burned malt, as well as some bitterness throughout the finish. A bit disappointing really.

Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy dark tan head. Intense, sweetish aroma of malt and hops, possibly fruit, too. Roasty notes. Dark, roasted and smoked flavour with a note of dried fruit and a boozy finish. Dry aftertaste. Very interesting, but I don’t think I will be handcuffed to the brew until Ragnarok comes (as it says on the label), unless it comes very soon.
