Sampled from tap at ?Craft Beer Corner? at 11% abv. Pitch black with a light brown head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of dark chocolate, praline, coffee and licorice. Rather sweet, malty and moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and praline, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Tap. Pours pitch black, small tan head, great lacing. Aroma is light roast, coffee, cocoa. Flavor the same- bit of anise, light sweet, medium bitter, some astringence. Full body, creamy, hot.
