Cask (gravity) @ 27th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2010, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, EnglandClear medium yellow colour with a small to small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, plastic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101201]

Gravity cask at the Old Fountain BF. Clear, honey-gold pour with a foamy, white head. Fruity hop nose, light malts and honey. Quite sweet, with orange juice and caramel, then bitter with hay and lemony citrus. Light in body with fine carbonation. Some bread and juicy citrus in the finish, with light drying, hay, grass and straw hops. Excellent beer!
