A very smooth chestnut coloured ale. A careful infusion of Challenger hops and bay produce a citrus tang. Deep and complex malt flavours provide a lasting biscuit like aftertaste. You’ll cherish the memory of this beautifully crafted ale.

Pigs Ear. Clear brown beer, small off white head. Light dry palate, a little soft. Remarkable sweet malt with tastes like a pinch of Christmas spice. Semi dry finish. Nice.

Cask at the Pig’s Ear BF 2010. Dark amber pour with no head. Strong pumpkin and spice in the nose. Lightly sweet, certainly malty, faintly spicy flavor. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Autumn spices and more pumpkin in the finish, with further, understated maltiness. Decent.
