Ever so slightly hazy pink and light ruby coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of very strong and pungent fruit notes with berries, peaches, light grain and a dash of grass and very light malts in the nose at least, but also some light vinegar that adds to the soured/tart notes. Light to Medium-bodied; Very strong and incredibly pungent tart and flavourful fruit notes dominate with blackberries, raspberries, peaches and white grapes with a very mellow malt note, but some dryness as well that comes through from the malts and light grassiness. Aftertaste shows of course the tart and soured fruit flavours first and with a nice complexity with the berries and peaches really coming through, but some light vinegar and slight bready note are also there on the back end. Overall, a very nice and incredibly tart/soured beer that shows fruit flavours superbly with a dry and ever-so-slight briney note that does show some salt and a very refreshing vibe at the end. After having looked at the front of the can, I did not notice any of the elements that they brewed with - no dragonfruit, asian pears, vanilla, limes, coconut and definitely no pineapples, but that said, it was still great! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from The Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 18-September-2020 for US$5,66 sampled at my house here in Washington on 29-November-2020.

Pint can thanks to hershiser2 at the Tart Library Book tasting, 9.15.20. Hazy burnt orange, very large head, foamy, offwhite. Good retention. Aroma of coconut, vanilla, pineapple. Kinda weak. Taste is pineapple, dragonfruit, pear, coconut, vanilla, earth. Medium bodied lingering tartness.
