A copper coloured ale in the style of an American Pale Ale, brewed with crystal, caramalt and US hops.
It has a rich full-bodied feel from the roasted malts finished off with a delicious fruity hop character.

Craft Clerkenwell. Clear amber beer, residual white head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Tiny bit of caramel in the malt. Very mellow hops - mild dried fruits and marmalade, barely there. Dry minerally finish. Passable but dull.

[Cask at Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading] Amber. Very very hoppy indeed, maybe a bit too much so for my liking. Flowers and lemon seem to be the theme, but itโ€™s all hops and no balance.

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is wood, fruits, nectar, some mild earth and spices as well. Flavour is quite much the same with some bready and mildly nutty notes. Quite strongly fruityish floral hops in the finish.
