Gravity cask at the Angels Micropub, Belper. Light to mid-gold, slightly hazy with a tiny bit of white head. Light aroma of dried grass, cantaloupe pulp, antiseptic. Taste is simultaneously sweet and astringent in the first instance. Bittering hop asserts mid-sip but it ends more sweetly, with a gentle vegetal sugary character. A nice enough drink. A very very English IPA.

Oldham Beer Festival 2017. Felt more like a strongish bitter than an India Pale Ale.

Cask-conditioned at the Nottinghamshire beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol March 2012. Golden coloured with a slight white head. Light grassy hop aroma. Flavour had some cereal malts, sweet fruit and a mildly bitter finish. Ok.
