Re-rate 1/29/16: Draught at Flavor Bistro in Santa Rosa. Cloudy deep golden with a white head. Hoppy aroma, citric, piney. Dry bitter flavor, with citric and piney hops, quite crisp. Medium-bodied. Good. 7/3/7/3/15=3.5
[2/11/15] Cask at Toronado in San Francisco. Clear amber. Aroma of herbal and “green” hops and some mild maltiness. Flavor has some malty backbone and nice aggressively bitter hops. Medium-bodied. 6/3/7/3/14=3.3

On draught. Pours copper with clearness and white head. Lots of malt and earthy hops on both flavor and aroma.

Draft @ Toroando, SF. Was it fair that I sampled a Fresh Squeezed right before this? No, it was not. This beer has a weak herbal hop note and lots of caramel/ sweet malt. Reminds me of a English IPA or bitter. The malt is the main character and really not much in the way of bitterness or real hop flavors. Overly sweet, tastes like an old American Pale ale that has sat around to long. I will not remember this.

On tap in Santa Rosa. Slightly hazy golden with a foamy, off white head. Aroma is very floral and soapy. Harshly bitter flavor, again that is very soapy. Some slight citrus. Green hops. Eh. I really didn’t like this one.

Keg at Flavor, Santa Rosa, 28/04/14. Hazed orange amber with a god sized off white head that thins then retains. Nose is toasted malt, bitter orange, citric peel, grassy, light grapefruit. Taste comprises pink grapefruit, orange pith, straw, toasty malts, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA - easy drinking and a good balance, no world beater though.

On cask at Toronado, February 2014. (my first one from this brewery) Clear light amber with a small white head. Aroma and taste of grass, citrus, caramel and some pineapple. Easy to drink and quite refreshing.

Cloudy burnt orange. 1 finger fluffy head. Sticky. Orange peels nose. Lots of oranges there’s that moonlight astringency that’s very easy to detect. It has a robittusin finish.

On cask at Toronado San Francisco, pours a clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, herbal notes, and toasted bread. Flavour brings out herbal hops, English malts, and toasted rye herbal bread. Very soft on the palate, due to the cask pour. Pretty strong herbal hops dominate this. Solid stuff.
