Cask@GBBF2010. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, nectar and some earth. Also mild syrupy notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with a slight spicyness to it. Big citrusfruity semi-bitter aftertaste.

Cask at the Live and Let Live, Cambridge. Reddish copper with a thin ring of beige head; autumn fruit aroma; autumn fruit flavour, with sourish plums and greengages and sweet blackberries; the finish is warming and slightly spicy with some dark roasted malts giving a dry background. Very good.

Cask at The Hop Pole, Easter Beer Festival, Aylesbury, Bucks in the company of Loz, Chris O and Ruth 10-04-09 This was actually on at the front bar so technically it wasn’t a bona fida Easter Festival Beer. Pours mahogany with an off white head, there are occasional glints of ruby red coming through the body. Tangy, some dark roasted malts, nicely bitter, its fine. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0
