Ruby-colored with amber hues and a fine and rosy head with a delicate persistence, this beer has scents of back cherries and cherries which almost become winy. These notes are confirmed when you taste it, when the fruity component becomes overwhelming. The hints of black cherries are accompanied by those of bitter almonds. The light body and the gentle acidity create the perfect conditions to continuously feel like taking another sip.

75cl bottle from Birra Baladin bar, Camden Town. Misty pinkish amber appearance, small off-white head. Aroma doesn't give a good first impression, very mild cherry coming through. Taste seems a bit deflated, and simply doesn't sing like a good aged kriek, with no wild notes, no barrel aged wood, no complex cherry flavours.. very disappointing. Tastes like it contains about 10% of the cherries it should do. Medium to low carbonation. Not impressed.

750 ml bottle, shared with my son. From Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Pink to peach colour, small white head. Aroma of cherries, jam, moderate lactic acid, a hint of oak. Medium sour flavour, notes of sour cherries, cherry kernels, almonds, marzipan, lactic acid, a hint of oak. Refreshing.

Deep red colour, mostly vanishing head. Mild tart cherries, cork and wood in the nose. Light-bodied. Tart cherries, light wood in the flavour. Simple cherry beer with champagne beer like texture. Not very complex but OK.

Nice tasty and also refreshing ale. Pleasant acidity and not to dry. Fine raspberry touch and some cherry in the back.

Bottle at home. Vintage 2015.The colour is hazy matt red with a small off-white head. Aroma of cherries, earth, oak, red currants and red wine vinegar. Sweet and sour flavour with cherries, raspberries, earth, vinegar, brown sugar and oak. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Balanced, fruity and sweet. Nice.

Bottle @ DØE tasting, Aarhus. Pours hazy red with a light pink head, light lacings. Aroma of light sourness, yeast, sour cherries, little barnyard, cherry stones, little almond. Flavor is light sour, light bitter, little barnyard, cherries, cherry stone, little marcipan and almond. Medium body, average carbonation, light acidic finish. 300817
