Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. Pours clear yellow-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with notes of pale, dry biscuits, straw, mild bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly dry to finish, mellow bitter hay and straw, further dried biscuits, white bread crust. Nice and drinkable, clean pils.

Clear pale golden colour, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, grain, hayish hops. Mild taste, medium sweet and below medium bitter, malty, grain, Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, more and lingering bitterness in the aftertaste, peppery notes, decent sessionable Pilsner.

Two half-litres, on-tap, 8th Aug 2018, some random bar in Quedlinburg. Bog standard Pilsner; usual bright golden body and fast fading white crown on top. The aroma and taste leaning slightly towards a malty sweetness, decent hop balance though. Very hot day, both glasses drank at speed!

Bottle @ home. Clear pale yellow golden color, medium sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste malts, lightly grainy, hayish, moderately bitter. Ok pilsener

Flasche (50 cl) vom REWE-Getränkemarkt Marktbreit. - Helles Goldgelb, klar. Langer, derb bitterer Nachtrunk. - Belangloses Billig-Pils, kaum des Probierens wert.

Bottle: Pale golden, clear, mid-sized loose head; dryish grassy-grainy nose with aromas of paper and metal; mild bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, a minor malty base detectable; short grainy-grassy finish. A Pils. Ridiculous…

bottle from Heinrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Clear pale yellow, mid-sized white head, grassy nose. Light-bodied, shy malty base with some grassy and slightly resiny hops. Quite light and mild.

Draught on top of Mt. Bocksberg, the Harz. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with notes of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour with pronounced estery notes and touches of malt. Hints of paper. Rough, estery and bitter aftertaste. Not bad, especially as a refreshment on a hefty skiing day that happens to fall on my birthday :-)

On tap.
