Hand-pulled pint in The Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford; sat with 'Martinsh' on 27th July 2021. Not quite Platinum Blonde in colour, but not far off, white head. Aroma given off was a bit rural, grubby silo, dirty doormat and certainly not 'floral' as advertised. Dry and bitter throughout, with a mini fruitiness trying to get out. Sounds rough, but I enjoyed it with my cheese and onion roll and a packet of crisps.

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Has a bit of a mucky farmyard type aroma, with some added fruit. The initial taste in the mouth is of the bitterness of tonic water, but this gradually fades to a general fruitiness with some hints of pine. Finish is quite dry. Quite enjoyable, and definitely swiggable !
