Production moved from Youngs to Wells & Youngs in October 2006. Renamed Wells Waggle Dance in mid 2008
Ingredients: Pale ale and crystal malt, Fuggle and Golding hops together with South American honey.

[Cask at Nut & Squirrel, Milton Keynes] Gold with a moderate lasting white head. An obvious initial aroma and taste of pure set honey tries but fails to disguise what is otherwise a very bland, watery, low-grade golden ale. Very disappointing for a beer which originally came from the Youngs side of the merger - did they change it to a Wells beer to avoid tainting the perceived higher quality of the Wells brand? Or is it just that it used to be good and Wells have mucked it up...?

Cask at Tennentโs Bar, Glasgow. Deep golden. Sweet with soothing honey flavour. Quite malty with notes of grain, low on hops. Excessive sweetness gets in my way, and itโs not very complex. Still a decent beer.

Cask. Dark golden colour, mediumsized beige head, lots of lacing. Aroma is honey, sweet fruits, some berries and balancing grassy hops. Flavour is very much the same, but has some very nectary notes. Also some wooden hints. Very nice casked!

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Gold with an off-white head; light aroma, possibly with some honey; bitter to start, but with some honeyed sweetness developing; leading to a slightly sour finish. I prefered this to the bottle version.

A light sweet aroma, arguably with honey hints. Light amber color with a white head that sort of laces. A sweet start, not strongly sweet, but honey seems present. Hardly any bitter. The finish is short but sweet.

Half pint. Very clear amber. Small foam layer. Fruity aroma. Caramel and a touch of fruitiness all the way through. Went well with Fish nโ Chips (in good condition at the Youngโs pub The Lamb in Bloomsbury 14.09.2006).
