(Cask at Lamb, Bloomsbury, London, 1 Aug) Colour is amber with small head. Nose is fruity with notes of orange, apricots and honey. Taste is fruity with orange (orange marmelade actually), honey sweetness throughout and a touch of earthy (Youngs trademark) hops in the finish to balance the sweetness. Balanced and rather nice.

Cask@Wargrave Arms, London. Amber color, not much head. Malty nose with some sweetness in it. Bitter-harsh flavor - some fruits (red grapes) and long harsh/bitter aftertaste. Medium-bodied and malty. A drop of honey sweetness in the aftertaste.

Cask at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Amber colour, Honey and malt nose, fullish in mouth but a tad too sweet for me but with some bitter hop finish. Honey does not dominate too much, but apart from the bitter hop finish, there is not enough to keep you interested

[Cask at Københavnske Øldage 2005] A light amber beer with a small white head. The aroma is somewhat weird - with some sour notes combined with malt and honey. The flavor is dominated by honey, but mixed in are notes of rosehips and flowers. The mouthfeel is flat and slightly sticky.
