Cask at GBBF 2015 - London. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds ripe citrus, pine, a little diesel. Medium sweet flavour, somewhat dank, with bits of melon, papaya, piney bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Lightly warming and resinous in the finish, rich tropical fruits, orange. Good stuff.

Sample at the taproom. Clear bronze color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Short stringy lacing. Citrus, hops and malt aromas. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, stone fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a melon and hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at the brewery, GABF week 2014. Copper color. mild hop aroma nd flavor. Dry, bitter hops and a solid malt base. Well balanced with the malt; I thought it was more of an American Pale Ale.

Thanks for the can, Erin.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing speckling and then sliding into the beer.
The smell had a decent amount of light sweet citrus to brighten into a slight bittersweet piney - ness.
The taste was bittersweet citrus to include the piney hops and eventually allows a decent light caramel malt to it.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but still carried a decent subtle smoothness to it.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA that I could have again.

Tap @ Golden City Brewery. A little hazy, golden appearance with an off white head. Spicy, resiny, grapefruit hoppy, a bit toasty aroma. Tangy, a little soapy, spicy, moderately resiny, bud, orange/grapefruit citrusy flavor. I got an undesirable soap note note I did in the brown but it was otherwise decent.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A hazy golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of lemons and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, and lemons, leading to a dry finish.
