On tap at Central Market, L. A. Hazy amber beer with a thin white head. Light nose of melon and guava. Some lacing, fruit is quite subtle. Wheat Ale base is prominent. Nice Ale, refreshing in the summer heat.

Aroma of guava. Taste has guava and some malt ones. Palate has sour fruity notes, some more guava, hints of passionfruit. Eh.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a cloudy yellow-gold color with a white head and good retention. A tiny bit of lacing. The aroma is stronger passion fruit than the guava. The flavor follows the nose. Strong passion fruit, guava, pineapple and grapefruit notes in a basic wheat ale base beer with a dry finish. More of a fruit beer than a wheat ale. Very crisp mouthfeel for a wheat beer. Medium-light body. Zero bitterness.
