Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 9, 2018. Aroma is very hop forward with a moderately strong fruity note and quite a bit of dank as well. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Stone fruit, mango, papaya and melon with resin and hints of pine. Light onion notes. Pours a super hazy, golden orange with a medium small, thick, white head that recedes somewhat quickly to a thin film that lingers. Medium lacing and small legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with a bit of cracker malt notes. Moderately strong bitterness with some light alcohol notes. Moderate hop notes with tropical fruit, citrus, resin, pine, onion and light stone fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent DIPA with a nice aroma but there is a slightly odd note in the flavor. I can't quite pinpoint what it is, but something tastes not quite right like there is fruit juice in it or something.
