Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is rather fruity with quite a bit of cherry and raspberry. Hints of raisin and cassis as well. Light malt notes of dark caramel, toffee and toasted bread. Hints of red wine and oak. Pours a dark brown color with lighter hues on the edges. Small, thin tan head disappears immediately. No lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat acidic with a light sweetness. Some dark caramel, toffee and toasted bread notes. Cherry, raisin, raspberry and cassis with some red wine and light oak notes. Hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a surprisingly nice dark sour. The malt profile is still present and adding some sweetness while the acidity is mellow and not sharp at all. The fruit and wine notes are a bonus.
