Mother Sky is our North German-style Pilsner brewed with the finest Pilsner malt to celebrate our second anniversary. We hopped Mother Sky with Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Hersbrucker and Spalt Spalter in the kettle, then fermented it cold and naturally carbonated it with our house lager strain.

Slight haze. Herbaceous hop nose. The malts are a bit thin, crackery, and the bitterness isn't as rich as the better examples of the style. But that little bit of hop spice is good.

Can from Tavour. Pours gold with a large creamy white head. Aroma is Noble grass/spice over a little bread. Near med body. Dry and decently bitter. Tangy grass/spice with bready support. Very good.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is unusual, with an odd spicy, herbal hop character — atypical for a German pils. Flavour is somewhat spicy and herbal, almost like there are traces of cinnamon-infused hops in here. Vibrant and clean, just… bizarre.

4oz pour at The Magnet. Pours cloudy blonde with a white head. Spicy herbal grass on the nose. Flavour has lots of spicy yeast, herbal grass, and crisp cracker malts. Fairly high carbonation. Very nice.

Nice and clean lager hops, crispy. Taste is along the same lines. Refreshing and easy to drink.
