Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#15. POOLE. More avoiding the sights with it being monsoon season seemingly mid-afternoon in the town. Golden with a frothy-bubbly head. Session hoppy, but with a good body, and a good mouthfeel in the palate. Bitter-sweet.

Cask at the Smithfield, Derby, 06/06/2025.
Golden blonde topped with a white head.
Nose is pale malts, orange zest, grass, light breads.
Taste comprises orange peel, melon, papaya, soft malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness.
Okay cask pale but struggling to find Nelson anywhere.

Cask-conditioned at the Robert Fitzharding (JDW), Bedminster, Bristol 27/8/2024. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Floral hop aroma, pineapple and tangerine fruits, some herbal greenery in the background, biscuity malts and a moderately dry finish. Good.
