Fra flaske på årets siste Mi2, Cardinal des-15: rødlig mahogny med ok skum. Frisk, saftig og elegant bock med karamell og et anstrøk av dansk lakris. Meget lettdlikkelig for sine 7,2%. Fortjener en grundiger rating, så denne skal jeg lete etter i København i vinterferien. Eller like gjerne kjøpe på Cardinal...

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 21.12.15. Clear copper. Pale brown head. Aroma of sweet caramel. Similar taste, with plum jam and balanced with moderate hops bitterness. Also some berries. Good drinkability.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Some molasse notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Some carmellic notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal’s Yule beer tasting 2015. Beautiful deep red colour, off-white to beige head. Malty and slightly acidic aroma, hints of liquorice, caramel, molasses and dust. Smooth and pleasant flavour, with more pronounced notes of caramel and liquorice, but fortunately not too sweet. Some fruitiness too. A decent Yule bock this one.
