03/11 0.5 l can courtesy of ogivlado, thanks! New beercountry for me. Let’s see that US-like beer. Well, it poured some pale yellow body with bigger head. Boring industrial malts overwhelm aroma, which is weak anyway. Flavor quite OK for what it is, a bit industrial but with some bread or honey malts discernible. Thin, very watery body. Short, watery finish. Label says it’s the best light beer in the world, actually, it might be close to truth, but this is still crap when you look even to average pale lagers.

Pale golden coloured, small white head, lively carbonation, dusty nose. Weak malty, salty very watery and that’s it. Some mild bitter finish. Pure Iclandic water.

Can ogivlado got in a trade with faroeviking (thanks!), shared with him and heavy. Poured a nice golden body pierced by lively carbonation, medium sized thick snow white head that went away rather slowly. No aroma. Ok, I lie, there is some really really light dust. Bah. Salty, acidic, somewhat bready, eggy, damn watery. Despite all that not that offensive as they get but still nothing I’d have again. Still, yay for this being my first Icelandic beer.

Canned at Petelax Beer Festival. Very pale yellow, airy head. Light vegetable aroma. Sweet and extremely thin. Empty with no trace of malt nor hops. Disgusting metallic finish with rotting garbage. Lick licking on ice cold metal at a garbage dump.

Canned. Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is rubber, metal and grain along with some slight notes of malts. Flavour is malty, metallic and rubbery. Not that exciting.

An orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of straw, but also light notes of caramel and grain. The flavor is sweet malty with a dry grainy end. Quite good for a Lite beer - and an Icelandic beer.
