Half pint, cask at Leslie Bar. Bright, yellow-gold body. Headless, fragile lacework. Hints of sweet dusty hops to the nose. Smooth fruits mixed with caramel malts in flavour. Not a typical IPA, just of whiff of bitter hops to the finish (Edinburgh, 02.12.2010).

From cask at Three Judges. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small, creamy and dense head. Aroma is fruity, mild hoppy and light toasted malt. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy flavoured. Mild bitterness coming through into the finish. Ends medium dry.

Dull amber. The aroma is bland, caramelly. Soft body. Light toast, maybe a bit burnt with bland caramel. Nothing special, to say the least.

Bottle, Strathaven Hotel, Scotland. Poured muddy amber with thin white head. Grassy/hoppy aroma. Somewhat bitter finish. Wanted to like this, but fell a little short for me. Would like to try cask.

Cask@The Abbotsford, Edinburgh. Copper brown, small creamy head. Mild soft hoppy aroma with vanilla notes. Starts very fruity then strong hoppy aftertaste. Very smooth mouthfeel. Good one.
