Cask at the George. Clear golden with a small white head. Faint aroma of fruit and pine, matched by the flavour which also has malt and earthy notes. Ok

Tap at Sanderling, Glasgow Airport. Vague malt\mold aroma. Bright gold. Flat. Creamy not quite white head. Light bitter, some hops in finish. Otherwise malty. Somewhat watery, rescued by soft mouthfeel. Bland.

Halifax & Calder Beer Festival 2015. Copper-amber coloured ale. Has a sugary sweet nose that’s similar in taste but slightly less stated, although still stated enough.

Cask at the Laurie Arms, Haugh of Urr. Gold with a medium white head. Very slight aroma, some sulphur and tangerine but you certainly have to work for it. Bittersweet orangey taste with hop bitterness taking the lead at the end. A decent ale, though not overwhelmingly interesting by any standards.
