Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 16/2/2013. Deep amber with a slight, white head. Aroma of grassy hops with plenty of citrus fruit and a touch of caramel. Flavour had crisp, cereal malts, some tangerine and grapefruit, leading to a dryish finish with a touch of pine. Excellent.

Cask at the Duchess of Cambridge, London, during the pub’s American Beer Festival. Well, for one thing, this beer has one of the best beer names of all time. It pours clear, light gold with a foamy white cap. Aroma holds some pine, grass, and straw. Flavor is medium sweet with some spicy hops, light pine, pale malts, hints of metal. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Grassy, lightly abrasive bitter finish, medium sweet and somewhat sticky. It balances out after the first few sips. Respectable British IPA. And...Andy Murray wins!
