Röstiges, dunkles Malz, etwas frische und gekochte Früchte (insbesondere roter Apfel), etwas Schokolade, ein Hauch Hefe. Bittere Noten eher von der Röstung als vom Hopfen. Kohlensäure knapp über Medium - schön spritzig lebendig, aber trotzdem noch süffig. Vielleicht etwas trocken (was auch von den Röstnoten kommen dürfte), geschmacklich aber gut.

(bottle) Cloudy, chestnut-brown colour with a big but quickly collapsing off-white foamy head. Quite phenolic nose with strong clovy notes, backed by mildly dark malty and present wheaty accents, caramel and green banana. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Slightly dark malt character, wheaty and slightly fruity taste with traces of toasted cereals and caramel; quick and slightly sweet and sour-fruity finish. 06.XII.17

Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy dark copper amber with a large creamy beige head. Aroma of dark caramel. Med body. Flavor is dark caramel, not getting much fruit. Or noble hop. Despite that it drinks ok.

Bottled. Cloudy nut brown, small head. Strange bubblegum aroma. Sweet with medium body and rounded, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Banana and caramel, bubblegum and strawberries. Low bitterness.

500ml bottle. Hazy chestnut colour with huge, thick, frothy, off-white to beige head. Wheaty and bready aroma, a touch of caramel, baked banana, spicy yeasty overtones. Taste is caramel malty with a nuttily touch, cautious hints of nougat and wafers/conen, subtle sweetness, dry, herbal hoppy overtones, a spicy touch of yeast. Nice nuttily taste, good.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, würzig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, würzig, Röstmalz.

Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice creamy head. Malty aroma with hints of cinnamon. Starts malty-yeasty, not too dry, mild roasty. More and more grasy malty, modest sweet. Not bad!
