Sample @ Delirium. One in the long list of fruit-inspired soda pop like beer or however one wants to call them brewed, fake, artificial and uninspiring by Huyghe.

Super cloudy golden coloured body with a thick white head. Aroma of fresh pears, apples, grapes, coriander seed, wheat and yeast. Medium to Full-bodied; Super strong sweetness up front with a pear flavour and wheat taste. Too sweet at the end, a bit of alcohol and a mild metallic flavour. Overall, a very sweet fruit beer (all Floris’ are), but good flavours and definitely showing the pear. I sampled this beer on draught at Delirium Cafe in Bruxelles, Belgium on 01-January-2008.

Draught Very dense, fine head, transparant over hazy green-yellow beer. If pears smelled like this, nobody but little girls would eat them. Bubble-gum of the worst kind; fruit-flavoured, and if you say pear, I say bl**in dourian. Did I mention sweet? Slick, sticky, refreshing... because of the enamel-bursting serving temperature. My companion says: How can a brewer make this beer? I agree, except on the word "beer".
