(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 26 Nov 2017) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty nose with caramel, bready malt, citrus and slightly earthy hops. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of orange peel, apricots, soft malt and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a fresh hop presence. Quite nice.

From cask at Lass O'Gowrie 29.11.17. Clear dark golden. Dense and persistent head and lacing. Excellently balanced aroma and taste of pale malt, fine hops, nuts and some caramel. Very quaffable! Hop bitterness, grass and brittle in aftertaste.

On gravity at the Portcullis, Clifton, Bristol 11/12/10. Sweetish, caramel and grapefruit aroma. Flavour had more creamy, sweet malts with plenty of citrus hops and a decent, bitter finish. Good.
