This time, we sank Black Oktober into oak Caribbean Rum Barrels. Months of ageing have imbued this thick, dark beer with all the spiced syrupy flavours of the West Indies. The result is our most decadent beer yet!

8 4 8 4 16 Cask at All Hail Ale, Bournemouth. Black with a ring beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, toffee, roast and fudge. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with a thick chewy texture and very soft carbonation.

330ml Bottle - Black in colour. Liquorice, plain chocolate, plums and rum in the aroma. Rich and vinous taste with raisins, liquorice, plums and coffee.

Keg at small bar Bristol.... Dark dark chocolate roast malts.... Heavy chocolate roast.. Heavy sweet chocolate roast malts.. Big soft sweet chocolate roast malts.. Light licorice... Soft sweet chocolate roast malts

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is caramel, chocolate, toffee, light fruit, taste is chewy toffee, chocolate, caramel, wood, light spice, quite boozy.
