Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is soft pale malt, fruity notes, citrus, orange, mild hoppy with a hint of grapefruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Not as much wheat in the aroma as I expected, some nice mild fruity hops, flavour could be better, easy enjoyable beer.

Draft at restaurant Zebedeus The Hague. Color: Hazy amber, white head. Aroma: Yeasty, wheat, light coriander and lemon. Taste: Wheat malt, quite a lot of coriander, hints of lemon and some banana. Smooth. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice.

Geel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitterzoet en fruitig met iets van mandarijn, limoen en een beetje honing. Apart witbier maar daarom zeker niet slecht.

Hazy amber with frothy white head. Aroma of pears, dank cellar, citrus. Nice! Taste is bittersweet, a mix of fruity hoppyness, mildly bitter and crisp, accompanied by soft caramel. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, almost too mild, texture a touch watery. The beer has enough heft to make its statement though. Overall, a nice one with some subtle pleasures.

33cl bottle as “Kompaan Badgast American Wheat Ale” from Beerwulf webshop. F: thin, egg-white, average retention. C: orange amber, light hazy. A: malty, orange, caramel, tangerine, mellow tropical fruits, bit pine. T: medium malty base, orange, caramel, bit sweet fruity, tangerine, weak bitterness, more on the sweet side yet clean taste, lower carbonation, ok, drinkable.

330mml. bottle as part of the «European Local Swap 2/2019». Many thanks Maakun. Tasted @ home. 14/05/2019. Pale golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet malts, soft coriander, bread and dried fruits. Taste is slightly sharp and malty leading to a soft coriander and grainy finish. Soft bitter mouthfeel. Next one please!

Cloudy medium golden colour, small but steady frothy white head, good lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, lemon, light cloves. Taste medium sweet and bitter, grainy, yeast, citrus peel. Dry sweetbitter aftertaste, earthy and grainy notes, some orange pith. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Not a witbier nor a weizen but a bitter wheat ale, not bad but expected something different, okay.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige en tarwe achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, zoet en wat hoppig.
