Cask, on stillage, at the Stag & Hounds, Binfield. This was served with a warning as it was clearly not popular, and it’s easy to see why it’s certainly a challenging beer. Flat amber in appearance, with an aroma of rancid smoky bacon; thin in the mouth with a acrid smoke taste; and some harsh wood smoke to finish. Not a mandarin anywhere.
