Cask. Appearance is dark brown, a small foamy head which lasts for a while. Aroma of dark fruit, bread, malts. Taste is bitter dark fruit, raisin, quite malty, medium to full mouthfeel. Good.

Cask at The Bear (JDW), Maidenhead. Bright reddish amber with a loose white head; malty aroma with some red fruit; soft and malty in the mouth with some sour cherries; lightly bitter leaving a biscuity finish. Rather satisfying.

(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 20 April 2012) Reddish amber colour with creamy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of toast, nuts, dried fruit and orange. Malty taste with nuts, caramel, orange and some dusty hops in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Quite nice.
