Clear, copper colored, small off white head, not too lasting. Aroma is of malt, biscuit, some toffee, some grassiness. Taste is medium sweet malt, biscuit, nutty and toffee, grassy and lemony medium-light bitterness. Medium to light bodied, soft to flat carbonation, bit watery. (cask, The Rose, Bedford)

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - amber with a nice head. Nose - toffee some biscuit perhaps a touch of apple. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid but doesn’t require copious notes.

Cask @ Bank, Manchester. Deeper gold colour with a creamy head. Has a lovely grain aroma and taste that linger in the palate.

50cl bottle.
