Tap at the Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is yeast citrus fruit and aromatic hop bitter. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonatiiob.

Pours nice dark brown with a massive head that stays well and long. Aroma is nice but not too intensive - a bit of caramel, some soft roast. Taste has some caramel candy with some roast again - and everything is nicely hopped. Some coffee flavours with a dark milk chocolate. Aftertaste has more caramel, burnt sugar and bitter hops attacking the tongue for the finish. Long, nice and enthralling aftertaste. Based on this one and some previous experiences I can say that brown ales seem to be one of my favourite beer styles.

¡Salud! 500mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber-tinged brown with a medium tan head. Aroma toasted nuts and a little roast - almost seems a bit oxidized. Flavour brings out very pleasant toasted nuts, a touch of roast and a touch of dry caramel malt. Quite dry and nutty, while remaining quite flavourful for a brown ale. Very drinkable stuff, but ultimately very boring.

500 ml bottle. Pours a dark red.brown with medium head. Aromas of roasted malts and spice. Flavors are similar but stronger with the addition of licorice, resin, vegetables, and funky hops. Tasty for the ABV.

Draught at CBC. Malty, nutty but mainly too hoppy than I prefere a brown ale to be.
