Hazy dark amber beer. Ghostly white head. Crisp palate, semi dry. Some fine carbonation gives a pleasing bite. Nice malt base with a whisper of toffee-caramel, some cream as well. Fresh piney hops with bitter orange marmalade underneath. Finishes crisp and semi dry. Nice - could well imagine sinking a few of these on a warm evening! Lingering bitter aftertaste.

500ml bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Hazy deep amber red colour with lasting thin off white head. Lovely centennial aroma. Slightly sweeter and fuller than the pale ale version. Some bitterness on the finish. Tasty sweetish sherberty hoppy amber ale. Even a bit nutty on the malts. Good.
