Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, dark amber body is topped by a small, off-white head. Strange aroma with berries, caramel and a fruity hop touch. The flavor is pretty much the same, although more on the caramel side. Butterscotch and coffee too. Full-bodied and quite carbonated. Dry. The end is dry and coffee flavored with some fruity notes. Not bad, just boring and ordinary. 110128

Bottle picked up at Bellingers, Grove, Nr Wantage, Oxon, 01-05-10 consumed 02-05-10 This is a dark amber beer, the aroma is a little wooodland like with some earthy hops propping things up. Malty and hoppy in the mouth, hops are a little earthy, a touch rustic at times which I rather like but nonetheless clean tasting and another good looker. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask-conditioned at The Royal Oak, Bath 14/9/08. Dark amber with a slight, off-white head. Aroma has a touch of fruit and plenty of doughy malt. Flavour was along the same lines with a long, bitter finish. Ok.
