Hazy golden colour with a warm off-white frothy head, good retention and foamy lacing left. Lighter aromas of lemon zest and orange juices. The sweet gale comes out nicely in the taste with herbal, minty notes and fir tree hints. Wet mouthfeel with a little dryness, lingering some refreshments. Nothing too punchy, but a refreshing twist on the NEIPA.

Can, 473 ml, via Ian Guénard (merci!)on 1 October 2023, savoured on 10 October 2023; eye: caramel with a golden hue, cloudy, no effervescence, island of beige head, no lacing; nose: citrus fruits, light lemon, light bog-myrtle, light pine, pineapple; mouth : citrus, light lemon, light bog-myrtle, light pine, pineapple, slight bittering hops, finale in finish with light presence of bog-myrtle, medium-light body, good carbonation, slightly bitter, lightly sweet, lightly fleshy texture; all in all: a nice surprise FRANÇAIS Canette, 473 ml, via Ian Guénard (merci!) le 1 octobre 2023, savourée le 10 octobre 2023; œil : caramel avec une teinte dorée, voilée, pas d’effervescence, îlot de mousse beige, pas de dentelle; nez : agrumes, léger citron, léger myrique baumier, léger pin, ananas; bouche : agrumes, léger citron, léger myrique baumier, léger pin, ananas, très léger houblon amérisant, finale en ananas avec légère présence de myrique baumier, corps moyen-léger, bonne carbonatation, très légèrement amère, légèrement sucrée, texture légèrement charnue; en résumé : belle surprise
